    Hi, I have a brand new 2012 Sonata GLS, first time driving at night I noticed the following;
    I could not see the display, it's black until you have the lumination control up to 17 bars out of 20 bars and then the rest of the dash lights and instrumentation lights are so bright it's annoying and distracting ( to actually be able to see the stereo display at night you have to have the lumination control set to about 18 or 19 bars and I can't stand having the rest of the dash and instrumentation lights that bright ), does anyone else have this problem? Of course, the salesman said he's never heard of this problem, am I the only only with this problem?:confused:

    Standard Hyundai salesman training requires saying: I never heard of this problem , until they say it in there sleep.
    Check some other cars at dealership with same radio.
    If they all do it make them give you another radio.
    If they dont, small claims court is another way, Usually they fix things when threatened.
