Can anyone help me with the diagnosis of a low beam light failure in a
Sonata GLE 1996? I had issues for some time with one headlight being less
bright than the other, now I have had both lights fail. Fuses are intact,
lamps are intact. Does anyone know of an online wiring diagram for the
lights, or walkthrough for diagnosing what the problem is?

If you don't have drl, I'd expect the wiring to be similar to the American.
You can check out the diagram at www.hmaservice.com. Select service
information and web tech. Then select your year and model car and the
"ETM" tab for the electrical troubleshooting manual.

If the bulbs and fuses are good, I'd suspect the relay or switch. Also,
since you mentioned being dim, I'd check the grounds.

    Dim headlamp = bad ground.

I have seen some Sonatas where the spring clip that holds the bulb in has
overheated and lost tension thus causing poor connection/reduced current to
    the bulb.
