Sonata 2004 - Program new remote

    I just bought a new remote for the 2004 Hyundai Sonata and want to program
    it. The dealer quoted me $45.00, but it can't be too difficult. I saw some
    other references to TSB's but the one I located did not reference the 2004
    Sonata. Nor could I even locate the valet switch, maybe this model doen't
    have one.
    Any info would be appreciated,

    You have a different system in the 2004 Sonata. The only way I know of is
    with the Hyundai scan tool. There have been some other posts here about
    this, so I don't know if there's another way to do so through the white
    connector next to the OBD-II connector. If I recall correctly, there were
    some references to googling for a procedure.
