I was curious why somthing wasnt covered under the 60k bumper to bumper
portion of the warranty on my Hyundai Accent. Its a 2000 w/ 46k miles
on it. The dipstick broke. It was gradual over a week or two. I
noticed a slight odor occaisionally then one day it started smoking.
Oil was spilling out and burning by the exhaust fan. The dealer said
it must have been damaged when I had work done on it. Only thing
besides my inspection in Febuary Ive had done is oil changes. I dont
even check my own oil because Ive never had an issue. I change my oil
at a national chain. I called this company who then called the dealer.
They were told it was somthing to do with a bracket and the dealer
told them they were not sure how it happened.

Someone is BSing me. The mechanic who looked at it before I dragged it
to the dealer 60miles away said hed only seen somthing like this on
very old cars. Its amounting to 125$ and 4 days w/o a car but the
    situation irks me.[metal]

    Thanks
    Danielle

You HAVE to complain to Consumer Protection Agency in your state, attourney
general, and write Hyundai Corp, etc...

    You should fight...fight...fight...!!!!
