Hyundai parts online

Where are folks buying their mail order Hyundai parts these days? I
bought a case of oil filters and other such things from
hyundaipartsonline, but when I just tried to access that site they
wouldn't take my username and password I'd last used. I used their
"forgot password" link and it said it sent me something, but after some
    time, still nothing.

Anyone still use this site or know of a better one for filters and other
    maintenance consumables?

Wal-mart for oil and oil filters (SuperTech not Fram). Been using them for
    years, no problems.

    I've used http://hyundaipartspeople.com/

IIRC the parts actually come from Korum Hyundai out of WA state. Fast
delivery and you can contact them if needed.

    But I wouldn't buy oil and/or filters online. I use Purolator Pure-On
filters in all my vehicles and Castrol oil both available locally and
quite often on sale. Only oil I ever buy online is special for my
    motorcycles and not available locally.

Thanks. Yes, I use Mobil 1 purchased locally, but I wasn't able to find
cabin air filters at NAPA or other local auto parts stores. I have to
pay the dealer $23 and was looking for other sources.

Does K&N have that filter? http://www.knfilters.com/

    I don't know, but I won't touch a K&N filter. I'm more concerned with
filtering efficiency than with airflow (even for the cabin air filter)
and K&N filters suck at trapping dirt.

I got my cabin filter from Advance Auto Parts here in town. In stock.

That is good to know. My nearest Advance store is nearly 30 miles away,
unfortunately. Locally, I have NAPA and AutoZone. I didn't check
AutoZone as I've found their quality pretty questionable in the past and
most of their parts seem to come from China. I've used NAPA for decades
and know they sell only top-notch stuff, often US sourced.

K&Ns are geared for performance (better air flow) and I don't doubt that
they deliver that. However, there is no free lunch and the airflow
almost always comes at a loss in filtration efficiency. I say almost
always as there can be exceptions. For example, if you change to a
larger area filter, then you can get higher airflow AND still maintain
    the same or better efficiency.

Yes, I use the K&N's on my street bikes. They do have better air flow.

Unfortunately, they have better dirt flow also. As long as you don't
mind sacrificing some engine life for some performance, then K&Ns are a
    good deal.

Yes, performance is the goal. Prior to 2005, K&N made the performance
(Screaming Eagle) air filters for Harley Davidson. HD's gone to a
cheaper filter actually, that doesn't require oiling and not made by K&N.
