Front License Plate holder mounting

    Hi All, Years ago my front license place bracket broke off so there are only the pointy end of two screws coming out of the front bumper cover. I have taken off the entire front cover and am trying to get at the screws but there is a foam piece mounted behind where those screws would and its held in with some seemingly non-removable spring clips. I've even tried to locate the screw heads by drilling holes through the styrofoam to no avail.
    Has anyone ever done this before and if so how would one go about accessing those screws to my new mount can be installed?
    Any help/ideas/suggestions greatly appreciated. Oh, I have a 2007 Santa Fe LTD.
