I own a 2000 Hyundai Elantra. I've had an ongoing issue in the past few months. When taking a right turn (gentle or not) a loud clicking noise occurs in the front end. It sounds similar to a playing card stuck in the spoke of a bike wheel. No other apparent symptoms.

    Appreciate any advice.

Is the clicking coming from the left front wheel?
If it is then would suspect left front wheel bearing.
However, yours may be the CV axle.

If you can .. jack up front end .. chock wheels ... e-brakes
Safety first, wear gloves and safety glasses
Hands at 12 and 6 on the wheel/tire
    Check for play
Hands at 9 and 3 on the wheel/tire
    Check for play
    Put gear selector in neutral
Spin wheel and list for noise
Turn steering wheel and spin wheel
    Listen for noise.

I have had my front wheel bearings changed,
Changed the left and right CV axles myself
    Have had the struts changed
Changed both O2 sensors (down stream was near impossible due to living in rust belt)

Had master cylinder fail. Brakes locked up.
The car is just one failing piece of cr..p.
    But, I keep plowing through
