I had one of the Elantra GLS's that received a recall notice for the
    re-routing of the brakelines.
I took it in for the service, and now I notice it squeals when I brake for
the first 15 or 20 minutes
in the morning when it runs.

I figured I'd wait a month or so, and I noticed it really hasn't gotten any
    better.

I also notice ther is some pulling back and forth on the stealing wheel when
    I drive,
almost like it's out of alignment or something.

Any ideas. I will take it in, but almost always get the response that "it's
    nothing."

  2. i hate to bust your bubble, but as a hyundai tech, all your recall was,
is to add a plastic spacer to your brake line where it runs along the
engine craddle so it will not rub on a backet and make a brake fluid
leak.... all your complants are other non related issues....if you don't
beleave me you can ask your local dealer...
how ever, if your squel is heard at slow speeds, it could be that your
brakes are warn to the brake squelers and need servicing.... if it goes
away after a few stops then most likely a "over nite light rust
condition" and it is considered a normal condition....

    Thanks for the info.
is it possible to "injure" the line when it is rerouted in the spacer? Pinch to restrict?

It does sound like it may just be the light rust condition that you spoke of.
The car is about two years old and I can't imagine that I need to replace anything yet.
