this summer i changed alternator and belt, now when i start the 02
elentra, the belt squeals until i rev it to about 2000 rpm (and does
not squeal as i am driving), the belt is tight and alternator is
working correctly. I already tried spraying belt with belt dressing, it
stopped the squeal for only a couple days, any other suggestions???,
    thanx in advance

In my experience with this problem, belt dressing makes it worse. The only
solution was to change the belts.

In your case the belt (and alternator) are both new, so I don't know what
    it could be.

Did you use a genuine Hyundai belt? That is what worked for me.

    Best Regards

Since you've put on belt dressing, you'll need to replace the belt and
clean the crankshaft, alternator, and water pump pulleys of the goop.

The alternator belt on this engine needs to be tensioned much tighter than
most belts to prevent squeal. If you can flex the belt even a little with
    light pressure, it's too loose.
