    Anybody know how to stop the key from controlling the security system?

    If you're referring to locking the doors without setting the alarm, you can lock the doors by pushing the doors inside and then closing it. Without using the key, your alarm wont be set.

    No, you misunderstood I want to set the alarm with the remote only not with the key, so if a thief pops the door lock he cannot turn my alarm off.
