My A/C has been a PITA since new off the lot and no help from mechanics in dfinding the problem. Now that it ha exceeded the warranty, Hyundai Customer Service will not even respond to my requests.
So, it is at Canadian Tire in calgary and they repaired a leaking Low |Side valve, evacuated, oiled, added LeakStop of some sort, recharged and tested. It ran for a bit, then they now tell me the compressor needs replacing because it runs intermittently. the bill will be about $15-1700 dollars. They thought it was just an electrical problem but I just got word it is the compressor. I thought maybe the pressure switch or something not working properly. Any ideas b4 I give them the go ahead to replace the compressor?
    Thanks to anyone with help.
