I need to do front brakes on my 99 Accent so I looked it up on
http://www.hmaservice.com. What I was looking for is the remove and
replace instructions and information on any precautions like
lubrication or sealants. I don't seem to be able to find anything on
brake or brakes. Id th eproblem that I am not searching properly or
is the information hidden from us mere mortals?

    thanks

Click on service information and web tech.
Select "shop" and your year and model and click on the brake section. I
don't recall much in the way of lube info.

Thanks for the help. I found it this time. I was confused by the
general section and did not find the conventional brake system with
the pictures. What I was looking for was covered as in it did not
list anything so I assume I don't need it. The rear brake section
mentions lube on the parking brake.

FWIW, replacing front pads and rotors. Online price quotes were list
around $50, deal around $35. Local parts stores are getting $20 per
rotor. It pays to shop around.

    ;-)
