  1. can anyone help!! my car has been making a squealing noise and when you
    turn the wheel the belt beside the alternator belt I think its called the
    supentine belt but im not sure stops moving completly and it squeals
    louder whats wrong??

    You probably need to retension your belts (or replace them if they're in
    poor condition).

  3. how do you retension them the belt doesnt look worn out this started right
    after i replaced the alternator do you think it has anything to do with
    that?

  4. Probably, since the tension is controlled by the position of the
    alternator. There should be a tension adjuster on the alternator
    bracket. If not, you can use a lever against the alternator housing
    (carefully) to tension the belt while you tighten the bolt on the bracket.
