hello I have just received a 1993 Elantra with 150 km on the engine I
believe it has the 1.6 litre engine on it . It was screeching really bad
when I tried to drive it home . I managed to have it towed to my Garage and
my mechanic told me that it needed rear Bearings and a front Brake Caliper
( due to it being seized).
I would like to know if there are instructions on repacking/replacing new
bearings and how do I know which brake caliper is seized, I seem to have
forgotten if it is the right or left and how hard is it to replace the
    caliper?.
I have replaced bearings on my domestic auto before, is it similar to that?
any help would be appreciated , as I would like to save some money and do
    the work myself
    thanks very much

The bearing replacement will probably be similar to your previous job.

You can check to see which caliper is seized by seeing which wheel doesn't
    want to turn.

Visit www.hmaservice.com, select "service information" and "web tech".
Enter your vehicle year and model and select the "shop" tab. This will
get you access to the entire shop manual.
