2022 Kona Limited, tires 235/45R18. If I go on line and look for tires for this car it lists only that size. When my daughter bought the car a year ago I bought the best 'general All-Season' tire "Reputation" from Les Schwaub (love or hate the dealer not issue here), great ride on those tires. Any way, she is visiting and my Niece says she has 4 studded tires that just came off her Hyundai, they are 225/55R18. So they are a bit thinner and 1 inch taller. I reviewed some tire posts but time is limited before she heads back to Idaho. I talked to tire company and they stated the only really way to know is to put them on and see if they rub etc... these are stud so don't want damage to car of course. I went to our local Hyundai dealer and there like the only really way to know is to put them on but you will also lose clearance as the snow builds up.
What I have noticed on web-site is there is only one tire size listed. One. (1), usually there might be slight deviation on the listings (multiple sizes) but not on this car. Just one so possibly that is trying to tell me something that owners of like cars have already had experience with workable tolerances. As stated I did read some posts on peoples recommended tires for winter but none that I immediately found on this subject. I'm new to this car. I'm just the dad so forgive if this is a redundant question or the response of "read more", I get that. But a 'free' set of new studded tires may be available. $1,000. so here I am asking questions.

Question: Will the 225/55R18 studded tires work on this car without damage to the vehicle tire wells/struts?

Sorry so words, thanks for your time.
