2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe alarm gremlins

    2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe. 26,000 miles. One owner.

    Alarm was working as advertised up until a week ago. Since then the alarm has been acting strangely. By strangely I mean it will go off when I open the driver side door from the inside after shutting the engine off. I must restart the car to stop the alarm and then I can shut the engine off and it won't go off. The only other symptom I notice is the battery might be needing replacement since it does not seem to have the same cranking power as before. What bait should I use to capture the alarm gremlin living in my car? Thanks for any help.
