2002 Hyundai Santa Fe Stock on 3r gear.

    My 02 Hyundai Santa Fe, its stock in third gear. My mechanic did a fluid change and still the same. He says it needs a new transmission but in goggle they say the it could be something else. It also has some kind of electrical problems like the wipes don't work and it has a wire noise in the rear door,la its not locking.
    Anyone has any idea of what should i do?
