2000 hyundai accent

  1. to whomever wants to listen,
my friend and I just tore apart the head in my accent, and then i had
the head redone (it was a little warped) and then i replaced gaskets,
and put all the nuts and bolts back together and refilled fluids and
everything and double and triple and quadruple checked everything but
now when i went to start it it starts and turns over, but immediately
after it shuts off and then i hear a humming under the hood and ive
narrowed that down to a little connector between the fuel injectors
and the throttle body, when i unplug that the humming stops. if
anyone has any ideas at all

It sounds like you're describing the idle actuator. If I recall correctly
it does indeed hum when the key is on but the engine is not running
